What happens after I complain? #
We will review the complaint under our internal dispute resolution process.
For a standard complaint, a formal response will generally be provided within 30 calendar days, unless a different timeframe or permitted exception applies. ASIC’s RG 271 sets the enforceable standards applying to internal dispute resolution.
Webber Insurance also subscribes to the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice.
If you remain dissatisfied, or the complaint is not resolved within the applicable timeframe, you may be able to lodge a complaint with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.
AFCA is an independent external dispute resolution service, although its jurisdiction and eligibility rules apply to each complaint.
Further information is available on our Complaints and Disputes Handling page and in our Financial Services Guide.
