What should I do immediately? #
Where practical:
- Take photos or videos before cleaning up
- Keep damaged property until the insurer advises whether it can be disposed of
- Keep invoices and receipts for urgent temporary work
- Avoid permanent repairs until insurer instructions are received, unless urgent action is reasonably necessary
- Report theft, vandalism or malicious damage to police

- Details of damaged or stolen property

- Police report details
Tell us if the incident has also interrupted your business so any applicable Business Interruption cover can be considered.
