A policy schedule is a document showing how an insurance policy has been arranged for a particular insured.

Depending on the policy, it can show:

• The Named Insured
• Policy period
• Selected sections of cover
• Sums insured
• Limits of indemnity
• Excesses
• Insured activities
• Property or locations
• Vehicles or equipment
• Endorsements or special conditions

How does it work with the policy wording? #

The schedule does not normally contain every term of the insurance.

It should be read together with:

• The policy wording
• Any Product Disclosure Statement where applicable
• Endorsements
• Other documents forming part of the policy

Check your schedule when it is issued and again at renewal.
