What us the difference between Home Insurance & Landlords Insurance

Home Insurance is designed for owner-occupiers, covering the home you live in, including the building and your personal belongings. This cover can include contents cover, temporary accommodation, and liability protection.

Landlord’s Insurance is for people renting out a residential property. It focuses on tenant-related risks, like loss of rent, damage caused by tenants, and legal costs associated with tenancy disputes. It can also include building and contents cover if needed.

If you live in the property, you need home insurance. If you’re leasing it out, landlord’s insurance is the right choice.
